All competitors receive a technical t-shirt and goody bag, event infrastructure and athlete village. Prizes for top 3 overall.

Courses are subject to change. In the event the swim is cancelled it will be replaced with a 1.5km flat promenade run.

Beyond Sport Marketing reserves the right to change the event date to Sunday 4th June 2017 with no penalty to the organiser.

Age group divisions:

Athletes finishing on the podium will be recognised and awarded medals in the following categories:

Overall men and women, Juniors 17-19, Seniors 20-39, Vets 40-59, Super Vets 60-75, Ultra Vets 76+.

Rules:

The Eastbourne Triathlon will be run according to British Triathlon rules and officiated by representatives of Triathlon England. Please note that this is a non-drafting race and penalties will be applied according to the rules governing the sport.

A disqualification will be issued to anyone found to be:

• Intentionally littering the course
• Foul or abusive behaviour directed towards the officials, organisers, their fellow competitors, members of the general public and our gracious hosts, the town of Eastbourne.
