Doing any event like the Eastbourne Triathlon is so much more than just what happens on the day.  More than anything, getting the most out of yourself comes down to the training you are able to put in over the months and weeks before.

We’ll regularly be posting up tips and advice for everyone taking on the great challenge of triathlon in partnership with tri coach Mike Porteous from ZigZag Alive.

  • for those going for their very first triathlon some general advice on getting the right mix of training in the gradual build up to the race
  • for those who are more experienced, we’ll focus on some of the specifics of the race and offer some tips to prepare
  • plus lots of sharing ideas, experience and lessons
  • and you can also email us, or post on Facebook or Twitter (@eastbournetri) and ask questions about your training or preparation for the event which we’ll be happy to answer
